Jill Hobbs

University of Saskatchewan Agricultural and Resource Economics
Dr. Jill E. Hobbs is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research interests encompass food policy, consumer preferences, and supply chain economics. Her work has examined incentives to adopt traceability technologies in the agri-food sector, consumer trust, public and private standards for food safety and food quality, the regulation of health foods in Canada and internationally, and the changing nature of agri-food supply chains. Dr. Hobbs is a Fellow and former President of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society.
