My special interests include trauma care, neuro-monitoring, paediatric neuro-critical care, and postgraduate education. I have ongoing research in cerebral autoregulation, brain tissue oxygenation and micro dialysis and whole genome sequencing in critically ill children. I am the chief investigator for STARSHIP (Studying Trends of Auto-Regulation in Severe Head Injury in Paediatrics), AMRC funded multicenter UK wide study.
