Session Description:
This symposium will provide an overview of the European-wide threat of tick-borne infectious diseases, from epidemiology to treatment, with a particular focus on tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) and Lyme disease. The session will explore how these diseases differ between adults and children and why children are at particular risk, as well as discussing recent research developments.
