Chiara Azzari is Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Immunology at the University of Florence, Italy and Director of the Pediatric Clinic at the Pediatric Meyer Hospital in Florence. She is director of the School of Pediatrics at the University of Florence. Her main clinical and research interests are in the fields of pediatric immunology, vaccinology and molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases. She developed three patents on molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases and is author of hundreds of peer-reviewed publications.
