Marina Aloi is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Health, Pediatric Gastroenterology and Liver Unit, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, since 2019. Previously she worked as a Research Assistant in Pediatrics at Sapienza University. She received his MD in 1995 and her Ph.D. in 2010. Her research interests are mainly in pediatric inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and she is involved in many national and international clinical trials in the field of IBD. She is a member of the ESPGHAN (European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition) and IBD Porto Group, ECCO (pediatric European Crohn’s Colitis Organization), and she has been treasurer of SIGENP.
