João Farela Neves Born in July 1978. Finished medical School in 2002 in the University of Medicine, Coimbra, Portugal. Completed training in Pediatrics in 2010, with special interest in Infectious Diseases and Primary Immunodeficiencies, including a 6 months-period in the Unité de Imuno-hématologie, Necker enfants-malades, Paris. Since 2009 works in the Infectious Diseases and Primary Immunodeficiencies Units in Hospital Dona Estefânia. Responsible for the Clinical Immunology Working Party since 2014. Executive Committe of The Portuguese Group For PIDs from 2014-2016 and since 2018. ESID board member since 2018 (chair of the PID in development Working Party) Associated Professor of Immunology in NOVA Medical School, Lisbon. Investigator in CEDOC (Centre for Chronic Diseases)
