Despina Moshous studied medicine with a specialization in paediatrics and immunology at the University of Bochum and Strasbourg. She received her clinical training in Paediatrics in Bonn, Paris, Brescia and Düsseldorf and did her PhD in Immunology in Paris. She is working in the Unit for Paediatric Immunology, Haematology and Rheumatology at Necker-Enfants Malades University Hospital in Paris. Her clinical interests are focused on primary immunodeficiencies and inborn errors requiring HSCT. Since 2015, she is coordinating a national prospective treatment study for primary HLH in France. Her scientific interest concerns mainly T cell disorders. She has a longstanding interest in studying DNA repair processes in the immune system
