Dr. Harrison is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is a preschool and early childhood psychiatrist with special interest in the integration of pediatric mental health care in primary care. She serves as project director of Kennedy Krieger Institute's Network for Early Childhood Tele-Education.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hegerl is a highly sought-after expert in suicide prevention. He has developed a community based intervention for a better care of depression and prevention of suicidal behavior which has been implemented in Europe, Chile, and Australia. His main areas of reasearch include: Treatment of depression, public mental health and community based mental health interventions, suicide prevention, e-mental-health, neurobiology of psychiatric disorders, functional brain imaging and sleep-wake regulation with over 500 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is president of the European Alliance Against Depression, the German Depression Foundation and was recently assigned the Distinguished Professorship funded by Dr. Senckenbergische Stiftung at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, University Hospital Frankfurt, Goethe University Frankfurt. Furthermore he is Scientific Advisory Council of the German Medical Association since 2013.

Research interests: Eating Disorders, especially anorexia nervosa: aetiology, neurobiology, course and treatment
