Andrea Fagiolini is Professor of Psychiatry, Medical Director and Residency Training Director, as well as Chair of the Department of Mental Health, at the University of Siena Medical Center, Siena, Italy. He graduated from Liceo Scientifico in Livorno and received his medical training at the University of Pisa School of Medicine. After completing a psychiatric residency at the University of Modena, he spent >10 years on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in the USA, where he served as Associate Professor of Psychiatry. Professor Fagiolini has published >400 papers and book chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of numerous peer-reviewed international journals. He is principal investigator or co-investigator on several internationally funded research studies (mainly Phase III trials). Professor Fagiolini’s research interests and publications primarily focus on the treatment of mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders.

Prof. Falkai has been member of various international and German scientific societies, such as the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS), the Leopoldina Akademie der Wissenschaften, the Collegiate of the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurogenetik e.V. Associate Professor Naim Fanaj is Director of the Mental Health Center in Prizren, Kosovo and professor at College of Medical Sciences Rezonanca, Prishtina. He completed his doctorate in Psychology at the European University of Tirana in Tirana, Albania. He has presented many researches as author and co-authors in many World / European congresses of Psychiatry & Psychology. He has published several papers in international scientific journals. In 2020 he published the scientific monography HANDBOOK OF STUDIES ON MENTAL HEALTH IN KOSOVO. He is the coordinator and lead researcher for Kosovo in the IMPLEMENTALL and MENTUPP project, within Horizon 2020.

Seena Fazel is a Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow in Clinical Science. He is Professor of Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. He holds honorary appointments at Oxford Health Foundation NHS Trust, where he works clinically as a prison psychiatrist. His current programme of research investigates risk factors for adverse outcomes in mental disorders, including using population-based registers. In addition, he has developed prognostic models for suicide and violence in people with severe mental illness using population registers. He is a co-investigator on the UK’s Violence Abuse and Mental Health Research Network (VAMHN).

Fernando Fernandez-Aranda, Specialist in Clinical Psychology, is Distinguished Professor (School of Medicine, University of Barcelona). He has been the Director of the Eating Disorders (ED) Unit at the Dept. of Psychiatry (University Hospital Bellvitge-HUB/IDIBELL), Head of Group CIBERobn (Excellent Spanish Research Network for Obesity and Nutrition) since 2007, He obtained his PhD in Psychology in 1996 at the University of Hamburg (Germany), his BP in 1990 (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Barcelona. He was Invited Professor at the University of North Carolina (2005) and at the McGill University in Montreal (2009/15). Editor in Chief of European Eating Disorders Review (since 2011) and awarded with the Meehan Hartley Award for Public Service and/or Advocacy-2004, leadership Research Award-2015, and Hilde Bruch Lecture Award-2017 (University of Tübingen, Germany). He is currently president of the Eating Disorders Research Society (EDRS) and Co-Chair of the ED Section of the World Psychiatric Association (2018-2023). He has been IP in several International/ EU Grants (13) and in National Grants (20). He published more than 376 English peer-reviewed manuscripts in international journals.
