José Luis Ayuso Mateos, MD. Ph.D. Chairman at the Department of Psychiatry and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Mental Health Services Research and Training at UAM. He is also Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, in charge of the organization and management of all the public mental health services covering a catchment area with a population of 323,000 citizens in downtown Madrid. He is Principal Investigators of the H2020 project “Improving preparedness of mental health systems to reduce mental health and psychological concerns resulting from the covid-19 pandemic (RESPOND)”, where he leads the work package about healthcare workers. He is external advisor for the WHO Guidelines for the Clinical management of COVID-19.
