Prof. Kokorin is currently Associate Professor at Hospital Therapy Department # 1, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), Moscow. He graduated in Medicine in 1998. He had served two years residency in Hospital Therapy Department at the Russian State Medical University, Moscow from 1998 to 2000. Prof. Kokorin then served as Assistant Professor until 2012 and as Associate Professor since then. Prof. Kokorin has participated in more than 50 clinical trials in cardiology (II-IV phases) since 1999 as co-investigator, study coordinator and principal investigator. He is currently Scientific Secretary of Russian Scientific Medical Society of Internal Medicine (since 2009), Honorary Member and a Treasurer of the European Federation of Internal Medicine, member of Russian Cardiology Society and European Society of Cardiology (since 1999). He has authored 103 publications.
