She is a Civil Engineer and a researcher of the National Research Council of Italy - Construction Technologies Institute in the field of architectural technology. She obtained the Master degree of Science in European Construction Engineering (Loughborough University and Universidad de Cantabria). She holds a PhD in Building Engineering from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome. She is the head of “Testing and evaluation of building components Laboratory” of ITC - Bari. She has taken part in several research programs especially related to sustainable construction, buildings role in climate change, windows innovation, integrated method and technologies for resilience in urban system from energy efficiency to impacts mitigation, innovative mortar mix design for FRCM reinforcement applicable to the existing building stock to simultaneously obtain structural consolidation and energy efficiency, green buildings. Edmond believes that everyone and the next generations deserve an environment for pleasant living and survival. The overwhelming light nuisance is one of many environmental challenges that he visions to address. Currently, Edmond is a Senior Campaigner of The Green Earth in Hong Kong. He applies research and engineering knowledge to push for light pollution assessment legislation. Also, he advocates for environmental responsibilities in the commercial world. Prior to that, he was an Acoustic Consultant of Arup Hong Kong, New York, and Chicago Offices. He provided consultancy services of environmental pollution impact assessments and architectural acoustics design. Edmond is a candidate for the Master in Management at Harvard University. He earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong and his Bachelor’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

I lead the One Planet Living initiative at Bioregional, offering resources and support around the world for partners serious about sustainability. I am responsible for seeing that the worldwide One Planet Living framework is available and relevant to thousands of users everywhere, and that it helps them to accelerate change and to transform their own organisation or project into a shining example of our happier, healthier, sustainable future. I’m responsible for our One Planet Living training as well as overseeing our One Planet Living leadership recognition scheme. I also have a particular focus on towns, cities and regions and have been overseeing an amazing programme to pilot the use of One Planet Living in 6 city-regions on 5 continents around the world, including my own home county of Oxfordshire, engaging with stakeholders from business, local authorities, schools and community groups to co-create a shared vision and action plans. I’m proud to have been listed in Building Magazine’s Top 50 rising stars of sustainability for 2012 and was a finalist in the Outstanding Women in Construction Awards 2014. Before Bioregional I was civil engineer and can claim a part in delivering the Jubilee Line tunnel in London and some hydro dams.

Maggie Lee is currently Lead, Plastic Program for Verra, an organization dedicated to the development of standards, and Asia Pacific Regional Lead for Global Seafood Traceability for WWF (World Wildlife Fund/World Wide Fund for Nature). Maggie has been managing market transformative projects aiming to enable sustainable sourcing and consumption in the Asia Pacific in her three latest roles at the WWF and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Maggie's previous environmental work include being the overall coordinator for the UNEP SEA circular project, the strategist for the WWF Plastic ACTion (PACT) initiative, the secretariat for Support Asia for Sustainable Palm Oil (SASPO), and the co-lead for the WWF Responsible Seafood Tool project. Prior to being dedicated to environmental sustainability, Maggie spent 10 years in research & development and technical affairs in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industry with moguls such as P&G, Aeon, and Nestlé. With working experience in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand, Maggie is often consulted for cross-sector, multinational efforts on sustainable businesses. She has spoken in over 50 panels in the last couple of years about the focuses of her work. Maggie's publications are predominantly on plastics & circular economy, NGO-corporate relationships, sustainable commodity procurement, and ASEAN environmental governance.

Feng Li, PhD in Ecology, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Director of Research Center for Ecological Restoration, School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Visiting Scholar of Stanford University, USA. He is currently the Leader of the China Network of the International Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), the Director of urban ecology committee, Ecological Society of China (ESC), and the Vice President of Urban Forest Council, Chinese Society of Forestry (CSF). Prof. Li focuses on Urban Ecology, Ecological Restoration and Management, Ecological Assets and Services, Ecological Planning and Design. He presided 5 national scientific research projects, including the Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, "Evaluation Methods and Management Mechanisms of Urban Ecological Assets" and the project of National Key R&D Program of China, "Ecological Landscape Reconstruction and Damaged Ecological Space Restoration Technology in the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration, China", and over 20 projects at provincial and ministerial levels. He has published more than 140 papers and 5 books. Moreover, he was awarded the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress once, and 4 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards. He was also listed as Elsevier’s 2020 Chinese Most Cited Researchers.

Tzen-Ying Jenny is a licensed architect who combines her position as the leader of the CReS Lab and Associate Professor in Resilience Thinking at Tamkang University. She practiced in New York after graduating from Columbia University; after moving to Taiwan, Tzen-Ying worked with the central government and held position as the client rep in various large-scale development projects. Following this she founded her practice AJL which explored and designed small to large scale projects. She has been invited as a jury critic, lecturer and tutor in numerous institutions. Tzen-Ying is currently based in Taipei where her practice and research received several design awards and accolades. Her work is focused on the resilience integration in the design process. She is best known for projects, 921 memorial and “Green Elf” series; she is currently developing an interdisciplinary model of “Living lab” modular system as founding partner of Origo Workshop.

Karen Lourdes is a third-year PhD candidate in Environmental and Geographical Sciences at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. Her research focuses on the integration of spatial ecosystem service assessments into town planning efforts, to support sustainable urban development. Her PhD project is a collaboration between the University of Lincoln, University of Nottingham Malaysia, University Putra Malaysia, Nanyang Technological University and the Natural Capital Project, for which she is a scholar. Karen completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool and her Master’s in Applied Wildlife Conservation at Anglia Ruskin University. When she’s not working on her PhD, she supports the teaching of undergraduate students, writes blogposts to further environmental education and tends to her garden.
