Board certification in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Milano, in 1994 and PhD in Experimental Medicine (Arteriosclerosis) in 1994. Assistant Professor at the University of Milano, Department of Pharmacological Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, 1998-2007; associate professor of Pharmacology at the University of Milano, Faculty of Pharmacy, 2007-2016; full professor of Pharmacology at the University of Milano, Faculty of Pharmacy, since 2016. Scientific Coordinator of the Center E. Grossi Paoletti of the University of Milano since 2015 and Head of the master program in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Milano 2016-2021. Member elected of the Scientific Committee of the European Lipoprotein Club, 2001-2006. Editor-in-chief of Atherosclerosis Plus since 2021.
