From combination therapies to discharge strategies. Practical approaches to meet LDL-C goals in ACS - Industry Sponsored Session by Sanofi. This symposium will be an opportunity to reflect upon current ACS management strategies and the barriers to achieving LDL-C treatment goals, specifically:•Highlight the current challenges and key unmet needs in post-ACS management •Emphasise the importance of ACS pathway optimisation and the ACS EuroPath initiative •Discuss the value of a multidisciplinary approach in effective clinical management of ACS•Inform on strategies and protocols to improve LDL-C management in patients with ACSTaking into consideration the ESC/EAS 2019 guidelines recommendations for dyslipidaemia management, aiming for an LDL-C goal of <55mg/dL within 6 weeks of the ACS event,1 this session will challenge our current understanding of where we are in 2023, and where we want to be in 5 years’ time regarding post ACS management. Can we get 75% of patients with ACS to meet their 556 treatment goal within the next 5 years? Can we take CV events off the top spot as the leading cause of death worldwide?
