Specialist in internal medicine FMH with special training in hypertension, dyslipidemia and smoking cessation and PhD in cardiovascular research at the University of Pisa. Head of the consultation hours for hypertension, dyslipidemia, and smoking cessation outpatient facility in the University Hospital Zurich Heart Center Cardiology. Her research focuses on vascular research (endothelial function in both micro and macro circulation, vascular compliance) and sympathetic nervous activity. She is part of the board of the Swiss Society for Hypertension (Past President), Vice-President of the swiss atherosclerosis society (AGLA) and Nucleus Member of the Hypertension Council of the European Society for Cardiology.
