MULTI-FACETED REVIEW OF SURFACTANT THERAPY RESEARCH - Supported by Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A Session Description: The symposium is aimed to discuss research and evidence of surfactant treatment of respiratory distress syndrome in neonates in comprehensive way: from biophysics of surfactant and its performance in lungs to different clinical evidence, such as randomized control trials and real world evidence, and Pharmacoeconomics of surfactant treatment. The goal of this overview is to provide neonatal community knowledge in surfactant treatment and advice how to choose relevant evidence to be used in clinical practice.
