Driving elevated real-world outcomes in SLE – an expert-led roundtable discussion - Industry Session Supported by AstraZenecaSession Description: In this session, Andrea Doria (Italy) will chair a dynamic roundtable discussion with the expert faculty to explore the challenges, opportunities and practical management strategies in SLE, including real-world experience with anifrolumab.Peter Korsten (Germany) will kick-off the session by outlining the importance of achieving comprehensive disease control in SLE through presentation of his own real-world clinical case and encouraging reflection and discussion on disease management with our faculty and audience.Fulvia Ceccarelli (Italy) will explore more of Dr Korsten’s clinical case highlighting the role of glucocorticoids in SLE treatment and consider strategies for optimising their use in clinical practice, including a practical focus on where, when and how to adjust glucocorticoid dose. Finally, Ian Bruce (UK) will present the long-term extension data for anifrolumab and consider its potential role in driving sustained improved outcomes for your patients. The session will conclude with an overview of elevated treatment goals in SLE and the opportunity for additional questions to ultimately transform lupus care for your patients.This symposium is organised and funded by AstraZeneca.AZ products will be discussed.
