Garry Brough, Positively UK

Positively UK
Diagnosed in 1991, Garry Brough has been delivering innovative HIV peer support, advocacy and training programmes for the last 20 years. Having founded the Bloomsbury Patients Network in 1999 he became the UK's first paid Patient Representative to deliver HIV peer support within a clinic in 2003. He developed and managed Terrence Higgins Trust's online HIV Community Forums in 20018 and since 2015 he has been Coordinator of Project 100 for Positively UK, delivering a national accredited training programme for HIV peer mentors, with a particular focus on integrating peer support into clinical settings. He is curretnly Chair of the CAB (the national network of HIV treatment advocates).
