amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research
Dr. Annette Sohn is the Director of amfAR's TREAT Asia program, based in Bangkok, Thailand, where she oversees the implementation of HIV research, education and training, and community advocacy and policy activities in the Asia-Pacific. TREAT Asia's research is conducted in collaboration with a network of over 60 adult and pediatric clinical sites in 14 countries across the region.  Her primary interests are in studying HIV clinical and program outcomes, with a particular focus on adolescents. Dr. Sohn is a co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the International AIDS Society. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco.
