Dr. LEE has held a number of senior roles at the Ministry of Health & Welfare in Korea; including serving as Director the Jeju National Quarantine Station and Deputy Director Division of Plan & Co-ordination prior to her current role as Director with the KCDC. DR LEE holds a PH.D and M.P.H in Public Health along with a B.Sc in Microbiology and Immunology. During her academic career, Dr LEE conducted researches and projects on public health law and ethics. After 2015 MERS Outbreak, she was involved in reforming and reconstructing public health emergency preparedness & response system at KCDC.
