Dr. Teiichiro Shiino received his PhD in Science from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan in 1993. He started researching HIV in 1997 at the AIDS Research Center at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) in Japan, and then relocate to the Infectious Diseases Surveillance Center.
