The University of Texas at El PasoDr. Lechuga is a Latina, U.S.-Mexico border native, who completed her PhD in 2008 at The University of Texas at El Paso and her postdoctorate in 2010 at the Center for AIDS Intervention Research. She is associate professor in public health at The University of Texas at El Paso.
