WHOTeodora Elvira Wi, M.D., is currently the Medical Officer, Human Reproduction Team, Department of Reproductive Health and Research, World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva, Switzerland. In WHO HQ, she is leading the development of WHO STI guidelines, addressing Antimicrobial Resistance in STIs and interventions for key populations. She has more than twenty years of experience in HIV and STI programming. She was the team leader for HIV/AIDS and STI , Western Pacific Region Office, WHO. She worked in various countries in Asia and Africa on STI/HIV interventions and demonstrated leadership in STI and HIV programming.
