This session will focus on data analytical skills and tools used by activists to turn data into campaigns using case studies in East and Southern Africa. It will also discuss and address the common barriers to civil society use of data to inform activism--including missing or poor quality data as shared by implementers and funders and lack of access due to power imbalances in decision-making structures.
